Appointment Fees
The appointments are privately billed with medicare rebate, but are not bulk billed.
Careful attention and time is dedicated to each and every patient, taking longer than a standard bulk billed eye test. Sindy's preference is to give her time and care each and every time.
If longer appointment time is needed, no extra fees are applied, just extra care and attention, all part of Sindy's service.
Special needs and Low vision patients are given extra allocated time and we ensure the clinic is quiet and uninterrupted for sensory-sensitive or anxious patients.
Adult Vision Exam
Full health and vision check ups; glaucoma, diabetes and cataract reviews
$169 with a portion claimable back from medicare.
Some health funds will entitle rebate for retinal scans as well.
The eye test lasts 40 minutes.
Contact Lens Assessments
$180 for new contact lens wearer, fit and teach, instruction and review appointment included.
Free trial pair to take home and practice wearing with to get used to.
Children and Adults Vision Processing Assessment
Fees for the children's assessment varies depending on age and assessments required.
The assessment lasts for 1 to 1 1/2 hours (or longer with extra visual processing assessments).
Fees vary between $290-$340.
Fee includes comprehensive report emailed after to you.
Medicare rebates are available depending on age and previous medicare claiming.
